Atmosphere (2)
Jestures (Deluxe Vinyl)

Listening notes

Atmosphere's *Jestures (Deluxe Vinyl)*, released in 2025 on Rhymesayers Entertainment (catalog number RSE0417-7), is a substantial physical edition of the conscious hip hop album *Jestures*. Spread across eight sides — labeled A through H — the release is categorized under the conscious and hip hop genres and presents the album's content in two complete passes: sides A through D contain the vocal album in full, while sides E through H mirror that sequencing with an instrumental counterpart for every track.

The vocal portion runs twenty-six tracks and includes several featured artists. Evidence appears on "Effortless" (A5), Haphduzn on "Heavy Lifting" (B1), Kurious on "Kilowatts" (B4), and Mike The Martyr, Musab, and Muja Messiah together on "Mash" (B6). The final side of the vocal portion closes with Yoni Wolf of Why? on "Yearning" (D6) and ZooDeVille on "Zorro" (D7). Track lengths across the album range from under ninety seconds — "Furthermore" at 1:14 and "Velour" at 1:34 — to the five-minute-and-twenty-nine-second "Neptune," which anchors side C and is the longest selection on the record. The instrumental sides replicate this sequence exactly, including the same featured-track positions and durations, though the instrumental versions of collaborative tracks carry simplified titles that omit the featured artist credits.

The album title's structure — each track title beginning with a successive letter of the alphabet, from "Asshole" through "Zorro" — gives the tracklist an explicit organizational framework. The deluxe designation in this release's title refers to the inclusion of the complete instrumental program, which effectively doubles the runtime and the physical format's side count relative to a standard single-album pressing.
