DJ Rectangle
Vinyl Combat

Listening notes

DJ Rectangle's Vinyl Combat was released in 2000 on a self-released basis, carrying no label imprint and no catalog number. The release appears on vinyl and is cataloged under the genres of Hip Hop and Pop Rap.

The tracklist spans at least one double-sided record, with side A and side B both documented. Side A opens with two separately listed intro tracks, followed by two freestyle segments, then moves into titled cuts including "So Smooth," "Bom Digi Rmx," "Get Money," and "California Love." That final track continues directly onto side B, where it is listed as a continuation from the preceding position, suggesting the mix runs across the physical side break without interruption. Side B then proceeds through "Whoo Hah," "Tonight," "Danger," and closes with "Who Bangin." No track durations are documented for any of the listed positions.

The absence of a label imprint and catalog number places Vinyl Combat within a tradition of self-released DJ product that circulated outside conventional distribution channels, though no specific details about its original distribution or availability are confirmed here. The tracklist structure, with duplicate position titles for the intro and freestyle sections and a track that carries across a side break, reflects formatting choices consistent with a mixed or blended presentation rather than a conventional studio album arrangement.

No personnel credits, recording details, or additional release information are confirmed in the available data. This entry should be reviewed against any supplementary documentation before publication.
