Dynamite Deluxe
The Classic Vinyl Files

Listening notes

Dynamite Deluxe released The Classic Vinyl Files on the Eimsbush label in 1999, catalogued as EBD 001. The release is a CD, falling under the hip hop genre, and collects five tracks with a combined runtime of just under seventeen minutes.

The tracklist opens with "Samy Deluxe" at three minutes and twenty-four seconds, followed by "Mcees" at three minutes and one second. The third track, "Pures Gift," runs three minutes and forty-four seconds and is the longest of the first three. "Style Liga Session" occupies the fourth position and, at five minutes and twelve seconds, is the longest track on the release. The fifth and final track, "Abführmittel," closes the disc at one minute and twenty-four seconds.

The catalog number EBD 001 places this release at the beginning of the Eimsbush catalog, at least as far as that numbering sequence is concerned. The label name itself is a reference to Eimsbüttel, a district in Hamburg, Germany, which is consistent with Dynamite Deluxe's documented association with the Hamburg hip hop scene, though the specifics of that association are left for a fact checker to verify and expand upon as appropriate.

Collectors and researchers interested in German hip hop from the late 1990s may find this release of documentary interest as an early entry in the Eimsbush catalog. Beyond what the data above confirms — label, catalog number, year, format, genre, and tracklist — no further claims about this release are made here. Personnel, production credits, and any related pressings or reissues are not reflected in the available data and have been omitted accordingly.
