FatFatCorFunk & Dj Nessinfamous
Save The Vinyl

Listening notes

Released in 2002 under catalog number FFCF 2002, Save The Vinyl is a self-released CD by FatFatCorFunk and Dj Nessinfamous, issued without the backing of a commercial label. The release falls within the hip hop genre and carries the designation "Not On Label," reflecting a fully independent approach to distribution.

The project spans fifteen tracks, presenting a mix of full compositions and shorter skit pieces. Several titles appear in Italian — among them "Senza Di Te," "Con Un Microfono," "Lettera Ad Un Figlio," "Nudo E Crudo," "Amore," "I Miei Tatuaggi," and "E' Il Ritorno" — while others are titled in English, including "Back In The Days," "Baby Don't Cry," "Groove Of The Party," and "Sucker Duck MC." The track "Infamous Funk" carries an apparent reference to one of the release's two credited artists, Dj Nessinfamous. Two entries are explicitly labeled as skits: "Lethal Funk For The Suckers Producers" at position ten and the title track "Save The Vinyl" at position fifteen, which closes the record.

The bilingual character of the tracklist suggests the artists were operating in an Italian-language context while maintaining connections to English-language hip hop conventions. No track durations are documented in the available catalog data.

As a self-released CD from 2002, the release sits within a broader tradition of independent hip hop documentation from that era, produced and distributed outside conventional industry infrastructure. No additional personnel, recording, or label information is available in the verified record for this entry.
