Marracash
Vinyl Box Collection

Listening notes

Released in 2018 through Universal Music, the Marracash Vinyl Box Collection (catalog number 602567649281) is a box set gathering six albums from the Italian hip hop artist's catalog onto vinyl. The titles collected are Marracash, Fino A Qui Tutto Bene, King Del Rap, Roccia Music II, Status, and Santeria, the last recorded in collaboration with Guè Pequeno.

The scope of the set is considerable. The Marracash album alone occupies four vinyl sides, with tracks spread across positions A through D. King Del Rap and Status each similarly fill four sides, with Status extending to six tracks on its final side. Fino A Qui Tutto Bene and Roccia Music II are more compact, each spanning two sides, while Santeria with Guè Pequeno fills three and a half sides across four labeled sides. In total, the box set accounts for well over ninety individual track positions across the six records.

The genres field for this release lists hip hop, and the label is Universal Music. No additional personnel, pressing, or production details are available from the verified data on hand.

For collectors and cataloguers, the set represents a single-catalog-number consolidation of what amounts to a substantial portion of Marracash's studio output to that point. The tracklists are detailed enough to confirm the presence of specific album versions, including the designation "Chiedi Alla Polvere 2008" on the Marracash record, suggesting at minimum one track carries an explicit year notation distinguishing it from other versions.

This is an unreviewed draft. All details should be verified against physical copies and label documentation before publication.
