Muro
The Vinyl Athletes (Original Demo Mix)

Listening notes

Muro's "The Vinyl Athletes (Original Demo Mix)" was released on vinyl in 1999 through Incredible Records. The release carries no catalog number on record.

The single presents four tracks across two sides. The A-side opens with the Original Demo Mix of "The Vinyl Athletes," followed by an instrumental version of the same mix. A third track on the A-side offers the Original Version of the song, distinguishing it from the demo mix that leads the side. The B-side is given over to the instrumental of that Original Version.

The structure of the release is notable in that it places both a demo mix and what is designated an original version on the same record, along with their respective instrumentals. This arrangement gives the release a document-like quality, presenting two distinct takes on the same material in a single package. Whether that distinction reflects differences in production, arrangement, or some other element, the verified information does not specify.

The release is categorized as hip hop and was issued in Japan, where Muro has been an active and recognized figure within that scene. Incredible Records served as the releasing label.

Track durations are not listed for any of the four sides, and no additional personnel or production credits are confirmed within the available information. This draft should be reviewed against physical copies or authoritative discographic sources before publication, as details such as personnel, pressing specifications, and duration information remain unverified here.
