People Under The Stairs
Carried Away Instrumentals And Show Vinyl

Listening notes

People Under The Stairs released Carried Away Instrumentals And Show Vinyl on Redefinition Records in 2017. The release is formatted as vinyl and falls within the hip hop genre.

The tracklist runs to twenty-five positions and draws its material from multiple sources. The first sixteen tracks — "Step Off," "Much Too Much," "Hit The Top," "Listen," "Trippin At The Disco," "80 Blocks From Silverlake," "Beer," "Come On Let's Get High," "Check The Vibe," "Letter From The Old School," "DQMOT," "Way Down In LA," "My Boy D," "Teeth," "Creepshow," and "Carried Away" — appear without alternate designations, suggesting they are standard versions of those recordings. Track durations are not listed.

The release then moves into alternate versions. "Beer (Colt 45 Remix)," "All Good Things," "DQMOT (Traveling Through Space Remix)," and "Trippin At The Disco (Bronx Angel Dust Mix)" occupy positions seventeen through twenty. Those same four tracks then reappear in instrumental form as positions twenty-one through twenty-four, making explicit the instrumental component referenced in the release title. The final track, "PUTS Show Vinyl Cuts," rounds out the program at position twenty-five and aligns with the show vinyl designation also carried in the title.
