Vinyl Collection

Listening notes

Released in 2018 by Heritage Recordings, this box set compiles vinyl pressings from the Russian act Темнозорь (transliterated variously as Temnozor'), a band working across black metal, folk metal, and rock. No catalog number is assigned to the release.

The collection is spread across four sides. The first two sides gather nine tracks under the title "Ведовством Крепка Чёрная Слава Руси" — rendered in English as "Sorcery Is Strengthening The Black Glory Of Rus'" — with individual titles drawing on Slavic seasonal and mythological themes. Among them are "Масленица" (Maslenitza), referencing the traditional Slavic festival, and "Прославление Павших" (Glorification Of The Fallen Ones). The second side closes with "У Талых Снегов Спроси Наши Имена," translated as "From The Melted Snows Thee Shalt Ask Our Names."

Sides C and D are organized under the title "Горизонты..." (Horizons...), comprising ten further tracks. This portion of the collection includes titles in both Russian and English, among them "Вервольф" (Werewolf), "White Thunder Roars," and "Fatherland," alongside tracks referencing landscapes, burial mounds, and spring. The final track on Side D restates the collection's second disc title, "Горизонты..."

Track durations are not listed for any selection on this release, and personnel, recording, and pressing details are not documented here. Collectors and researchers consulting this entry should treat it as a starting point and verify further details through primary sources.
