Listening notes

4 Promille released *Vinyl* in 2014 on Sunny Bastards, catalogued as SBCUR028. The record is classified under the genres of Oi, Punk, and Rock, and was issued in vinyl format — a choice reflected directly in the self-titled track that opens the B-side.

The release carries twelve tracks spread evenly across two sides, six per side. The A-side opens with "Frischer Wind" and moves through "Schicksalsschlag," "Heart Of Stone," "Schatten Und Licht," "Backstage Bugs," and "Überdruck." The B-side leads with the title track "Vinyl," followed by "Too Busy To Die Today," "Hoffnung," "Add It Up," "Letzte Runde," and "Nachbarschaft." No track durations are available in the verified data.

The tracklist reflects a mix of German and English titles. Among the German titles, words such as "Hoffnung" (hope), "Nachbarschaft" (neighborhood), "Schicksalsschlag" (stroke of fate), and "Letzte Runde" (last round) suggest a range of thematic territory, though the editorial content of the songs themselves is not documented here. English-language titles — "Heart Of Stone," "Too Busy To Die Today," and "Add It Up" — sit alongside the German material without apparent separation by side.

Sunny Bastards is a German independent label with a documented focus on punk-adjacent music, making it a contextually appropriate home for a release categorized within Oi and Punk. Beyond that association, no additional label or release context is available from the verified facts provided.
