Arckanum
Kostogher

Listening notes

Arckanum's Kostogher arrived in 2021 through Essential Purification Records under catalog number GATE017. The release is documented as a vinyl edition — spanning what the format designation suggests is a double or multi-disc configuration, given the three-sided spread across A, B, and C positions — and is categorized under black metal and rock.

The tracklist runs to twelve titles across the three sides. Side A opens with "Skoghens Minnen Vækks" and continues through "Yvir Min Diupe Marder," "Øþegarðr Del II," and "Þæn Sum Fran Griften Gangar." Side B carries "Et Sorghetog," "Gamall Uvermark," "Oþer Trulhøyghda Del III," and "Gangar For Raþan Vinder." Side C closes the record with "Bedrøvelse," "Ir Bister Ensaminhet Iagh Ugla," "Græmelse Ok Væ," and "Kri Til Dødha Daghi."

The track and side titles draw on archaic Scandinavian language, consistent with Arckanum's longstanding engagement with Old Swedish and related historical linguistic material. Several titles — including "Øþegarðr Del II" and "Oþer Trulhøyghda Del III" — carry sequential numbering, indicating these are installments within multi-part compositions, though the scope of those series cannot be confirmed from the available information alone.

No track durations are documented in the available data, which leaves the full runtime unverified for this listing. Collectors and researchers consulting this entry should treat the format designation "All Media" as a signal that additional configurations may exist beyond the vinyl edition documented here. Those seeking pressing-specific details, personnel credits, or edition information should consult the physical release directly.
