Asocial
"Revolt" The Vinyl Sessions

Listening notes

Asocial's "'Revolt' The Vinyl Sessions" was released in 2007 on Animosity Of War Records as a CD. The release carries no catalog number and is catalogued under the genres of Hardcore, Punk, and Rock.

The disc draws its content from several distinct source recordings spanning roughly a decade of the Swedish band's activity. The earliest material comes from two sources dated to 1984: the "Det Bittra Slutet" 7" EP and the Asocial / The Bedrlövlers Split Tape, the latter also represented by two outtakes credited separately on the tracklist. The 1986 "Religion Sucks" 7" EP contributes a further six tracks, and the 1992 "House Of Gore" 7" EP supplies three more. A final section, labeled "Various Songs Of Some Rehearsals And Recordings," accounts for the remaining six tracks, grouped across positions 29 through 34, each entry bundling multiple titles under a single track number.

In total the release contains 34 numbered tracks. Song titles appear in both Swedish and English across the tracklist, consistent with the band's documented practice of writing in both languages. No track durations are listed.

The compilation format gathers vinyl EP material alongside split tape recordings and rehearsal or session material, presenting them within a single CD sequence organized by original source. Whether this release was authorized, how it was distributed, and what accompanied it physically cannot be established from the available data.
