De Fornas Likgaldrar (Forna Nordiska Besvärjelser Omfamnat I Tre Kapitel)

Listening notes

Bekëth Nexëhmü's *De Fornas Likgaldrar (Forna Nordiska Besvärjelser Omfamnat I Tre Kapitel)* was released in 2022 on Purity Through Fire under catalog number PTF272. The release is catalogued under the genres of Black Metal and Rock.

The full title translates from Swedish as something approximating "The Ancient Death Chants (Ancient Nordic Incantations Embraced in Three Chapters)," and the album's structure follows through on that framing literally. The tracklist is organized into three named chapters — Kapitel I, Kapitel II, and Kapitel III — spread across what the side designations indicate is a three-disc or three-sided vinyl configuration, with sides running A through F. This is a notable structural choice for a physical release, as the chapter divisions appear not merely as organizational labels but as load-bearing elements of the record's sequence.

Kapitel I occupies sides A and B, comprising four tracks: "Själslig Urvilja," "Det Isande Kallet," "Nordens Vidder," and "Vinterlandskapets Klangor Del.I." Kapitel II spans sides C and D with two tracks, "Urtidens Kall" and "Det Förgångna Dunklet." Kapitel III closes the release across sides E and F with "En Förglömd Ursjäl" and "Vinterlandskapets Klangor Del.II," the latter serving as a counterpart to the Del.I track introduced in the first chapter. The mirroring of the "Vinterlandskapets Klangor" title across the album's opening and closing chapter is the one structural detail the tracklist itself makes explicit.

Track durations are not documented in the available data, and no personnel, recording, or production information is confirmed for this draft. Fact checker should verify the vinyl configuration, pressing details, and whether side designations reflect a triple LP, a release with non-playing sides, or another format arrangement.
