Bizex-B
En Våldtäkt I Vinyl

Listening notes

Bizex-B released "En Våldtäkt I Vinyl" in 1983 on Rebel Records (catalog number RLP 002), a Swedish punk and rock record carrying seventeen tracks across two sides.

The tracklist moves between Swedish and English titles without apparent pattern. Side A opens with "Gävle Spelar Bara Jazz" and continues through "Patriot," "Regler," "Revolt," "Jag Gör Inte Som De Säger," the title track "En Våldtäkt I Vinyl," "Nothing," "Invasion," and closes with "We'll All Be Dead." Side B runs eight tracks: "Stadgad," "Gatuvåld," "E.A.P," "Skin 'Em Alive," "Rebel," "Tiden," "Vild Katt," and "Alltet."

The album title translates roughly from Swedish as "A Rape in Vinyl," a confrontational phrase consistent with the provocateur tendencies common to punk releases of the period, though what specific intent the band attached to it is not documented here. Several track titles suggest thematic preoccupations one might reasonably associate with punk — "Revolt," "Rebel," "Invasion," "Patriot" — while others, such as "Gävle Spelar Bara Jazz," reference a specific Swedish city, Gävle, in what reads as a sardonic or locally grounded image. Track durations are not available in the verified data.

Rebel Records, listed here as catalog entry number 23 within its numbering system, issued this as RLP 002, suggesting it was among the label's early releases. No additional verified information about the label's history, distribution, or roster is available to include here.
