The release is catalogued under the genres of Blues Rock, Rock, and Southern Rock, and is listed in a format designation of Vinyl, Vinyl, Vinyl, All Media — an indication of a multi-disc physical package.

The scope of the release is immediately apparent from its tracklist alone. Spread across six sides — labeled A through F — the set contains 26 tracks in total, with five tracks per side on sides A through C and D, and four tracks per side on sides E and F. Track durations are not listed for any selection, leaving the total runtime unconfirmed from available data.

The titles themselves range across a broad spectrum, from "Paint An 8" and "Another Roadside Tragedy" on side A, through mid-sequence entries such as "A Conspiracy," "Evil Eye," and "Cursed Diamond" on side C, to the closing run of "Lowdown," "Tornado," "Songs Of The Flesh," and "Thunderstorm 6:59" on side F. Several titles — including "Wiser Time," "Dirty Hair Halo," and "Hi-Head Blues" — may be recognizable to collectors familiar with the band's broader catalog, though no additional context for their inclusion here can be confirmed from the available facts.

At 26 tracks pressed across what the format designation suggests is a multi-LP set, The Tall Sessions represents a substantial physical release. Collectors researching this title should note that the catalog number, label, and tracklist above are drawn from database records and should be verified against the physical release before use in any definitive reference context.
