Blitz (3)
Voice Of A Generation

Listening notes

Radiation Reissues brought Blitz's Voice Of A Generation back to vinyl in 2018 under catalog number RAD8013. The release carries genre tags of Oi, Punk, and Rock, positioning it within the broader landscape of British street punk that Blitz occupied.

The record is a substantial twenty-track collection spread across two sides. The A-side opens with "We Are The Boys" and moves through "Time Bomb," the title track "Voice Of A Generation," "Bleed," "I Don't Need You," "T.O.?," "Propaganda," "Criminal Damage," and "Vicious," before closing with a second listing of "Voice Of A Generation" at position A10. The B-side follows with "Warriors," "Nation On Fire," "Your Revolution," "Scream," "4.Q.," "Escape," "Moscow," "Closedown," another appearance of "Nation On Fire" at B9, and "Youth" rounding out the set at B10. The repeated appearance of both "Voice Of A Generation" and "Nation On Fire" within their respective sides is a notable structural feature of this tracklist, though the nature of those repetitions — whether alternate versions, edits, or duplications — is not documented in the available information.

Track durations are not listed for any of the twenty positions, so the total runtime of the record cannot be confirmed from the data at hand.

This is an unreviewed draft. The repeated track titles, the absence of duration information, and the lack of personnel or pressing details should all be verified against primary sources before publication.
