Maximum Detonation Seconds!! Poison In Our Vinyl

Listening notes

Released in 2008 on Awesome Mosh Power Records, *Maximum Detonation Seconds!! Poison In Our Vinyl* is a split vinyl release pairing Bolt Stein and Stench Mass Genocide, issued under catalog number MAIM 9. The release is categorized under grindcore, hardcore, and rock.

The record divides its thirteen tracks across two sides. Bolt Stein occupies the A side with six tracks: "Push," "Mechanism Of Destruction," "Fear," "Accident That Steals Up," "Ignorance," and "Boltstein Anthem." The B side belongs to Stench Mass Genocide, who contribute seven tracks: "Border Line," "Our Freedom," "Believe In Network Of Friends," "True Punk?," "System," "Play Fast Or Die," and "Thought Circuit / Stop." Track durations are not documented in the available release data.

The title itself carries the compressed, confrontational energy typical of the grindcore and hardcore scenes the release is cataloged within, and track titles such as "Mechanism Of Destruction," "Play Fast Or Die," and "True Punk?" reflect the genre conventions of both participating acts. The inclusion of "Boltstein Anthem" and "Believe In Network Of Friends" on their respective sides suggests a degree of self-referential and community-oriented expression, though the specifics of each band's lyrical or compositional intentions are not documented here.

The split format has long been a practical and ideological vehicle within underground punk and grindcore communities, allowing two acts to share a single release. This record represents a documented instance of that format, released through Awesome Mosh Power Records in 2008. Prospective researchers and collectors should note that personnel, pressing details, and additional release information are not confirmed in the current data and would require further verification.
