BPMD
American Made

Listening notes

BPMD's American Made, released on Napalm Records in 2020 under catalog number NPR 951 VINYL, is a ten-track vinyl record spanning two sides. The project sits across the genres of classic rock, hard rock, heavy metal, and rock, a range that gives some indication of the source material the band draws from across the record's runtime.

Side A opens with "Wang Dang Sweet Poontang," a title associated with Ted Nugent, before moving into "Toys In The Attic," a song long connected to Aerosmith. "Evil" follows at A3, with ZZ Top's "Beer Drinkers & Hell Raisers" at A4 and Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Saturday Night Special" closing the first side at A5. Side B begins with "Tattoo Vampire" at B1, then moves through "D.O.A." at B2 and "Walk Away" at B3. Mountain's "Never In My Life" occupies the B4 position, and Grand Funk Railroad's "We're An American Band" closes the record at B5.

The sequencing places ten tracks evenly across two sides, five per side, which is a straightforward division for a standard single LP. Track durations are not listed in the available documentation, so no comment on runtime can be made here.

The Napalm Records release carries catalog number NPR 951 VINYL, which identifies this as the vinyl configuration of the release within the label's catalog. Beyond the label, catalog number, year, format, and tracklist, the verified documentation does not extend to personnel, pressing specifications, or other production details.
