Released in 2017 on the Mediapro Music label under catalog number 0323, Vinyl Live is a vinyl release from Cargo (3) spanning twelve tracks across a double-LP format. The four sides — A through D — accommodate a total runtime that runs well over an hour, with individual tracks ranging from four minutes and twenty-five seconds to just over nine minutes in length.

The tracklist is sequenced across the four sides with a rough balance of shorter and longer material. Side A opens with "Ziua Vrăjitoarelor" at five minutes and forty-seven seconds, followed by "Nu Pot Trăi Fără Tine" and the six-minute-plus "Anarhia." Side B leads with "Aproape De Voi," moves through "Călare Pe Motoare," and closes with "Spune-mi De Ce," the longest track on either of the first two sides at eight minutes and ten seconds. Side C begins with "Clasa Muncitioare" and "Doi Pași" before arriving at "Destin," the longest track on the entire record at nine minutes and fifteen seconds. Side D carries "Ielele," "Nu Mă Lăsa Să-mi Fie Dor," and "Spiritus Sanctus," the last two of which are each six minutes and forty seconds.

The release is catalogued under the genres Arena Rock, Hard Rock, and Rock. The title's explicit reference to vinyl — Vinyl Live — places the format itself at the center of the release's identity, though the verified facts do not confirm the circumstances of recording or performance context beyond what the title suggests.
