Cattle Decapitation
To Serve Man

Listening notes

Cattle Decapitation's *To Serve Man* received a vinyl release on Metal Blade Records in 2014, issued under catalog number 3984-15297-1. The release is catalogued under the genres of death metal, grindcore, and rock.

The record spreads thirteen tracks across two sides. The A-side opens with "Testicular Manslaughter" and continues through "I Eat Your Skin," "Writhe In Putressence," "Land Of The Severed Meatus," "The Regurgitation Of Corpses," and "Everyone Deserves To Die." The B-side begins at position B7 with the title track "To Serve Man" and proceeds through "Colonic Villus Biopsy Performed On The Gastro-Intestinally Incapable," "Pedeadstrians," "Long-Pig Chef And The Hairless Goat," "Hypogastric Combustion By C-4 Plastique," "Deadmeal," and closes with "Chunk Blower."

The track titles are consistent with the band's established thematic preoccupations, leaning heavily into visceral, body-horror imagery that has long characterized extreme metal of this variety. The sequencing places the title track as the opening cut of the B-side rather than a closing statement, a structural choice that collectors and listeners navigating the physical format will note.

Track durations are not documented in the available data for this pressing, which limits any assessment of the record's pacing or side lengths. Prospective buyers seeking timing information may need to consult supplementary sources before purchase.

Metal Blade Records has maintained a long-standing role in distributing extreme metal to vinyl format, and this release represents that catalog effort for *To Serve Man*. No additional pressing variants, color editions, or supplementary insert details are confirmed by the available data and are therefore not addressed here.
