Jam Room

Listening notes

Clutch's Jam Room was issued on Megaforce Records in 2008 under catalog number MEGA 1992. The release is cataloged across the genres of Blues Rock, Hard Rock, Hardcore, and Rock, and appears in vinyl format.

The record carries fifteen tracks spread across two sides. Side A opens with "Who Wants To Rock?" and continues through "Big Fat Pig," "Going To Market," "One Eye Dollar," "Raised By Horses," "Bertha's Big Back Yard," "Gnome Enthusiast," "Swamp Boat Upside Down," and "Basket Of Eggs," accounting for nine tracks on the first side. Side B picks up at position ten with "Release The Kraken," followed by "The Drifter," "I Send Pictures," "Sink 'Em Low," "Super Duper," and closing with "Release The Dub." Track durations are not documented in the available data.

A few details are worth flagging for the fact checker before this draft moves forward. The catalog number MEGA 1992 raises a question worth clarifying: whether 1992 carries any deliberate significance, given that the band was active during that period, or whether it is simply an assigned sequence number. No personnel, production credits, or release notes are present in the available data to resolve this. Similarly, the title Jam Room and the informal character of several track titles may invite comment about the nature of the sessions, but no verified information on that point is on hand and nothing has been assumed here.

The genre spread assigned to this release is notably broad, ranging from Hardcore through Blues Rock, which a reviewer might reasonably want to address with sourced context before publication.
