Corpsessed
Impetus Of Death

Listening notes

Corpsessed's *Impetus Of Death* was released in 2018 on Dark Descent Records, appearing on vinyl under catalog number DDR216LP. The Finnish death metal band's record is listed under the genres of death metal and rock.

The vinyl edition presents eight tracks spread across two sides. Side A opens with "Impetus Of The Dead," followed by "Sortilege," "Endless Plains Of Dust," and "Graveborn." Side B carries "Paroxysmal," "Forlorn Burial," "Begetter Of Doom," and closes with "Starless Event Horizon." Track durations are not documented in the available reference data for this pressing.

Dark Descent Records, the Colorado-based label that issued this release, has built a catalog oriented around death metal and related underground styles, making it a fitting home for this record. The catalog number DDR216LP places *Impetus Of Death* within the label's LP sequence, though no additional pressing details — such as color variants, edition size, or matrix information — are confirmed in the available data.

The tracklist titles themselves suggest thematic territory consistent with death metal conventions — imagery of burial, dust, doom, and astronomical darkness appear across several of the eight tracks — though any conclusions about lyrical content or compositional approach would go beyond what the verified facts here support.

Collectors and researchers consulting this entry should note that personnel, recording location, production credits, and any additional pressing variants are absent from the current record and would require independent verification before being incorporated into this listing. This draft is intended as a starting point for a complete entry and should be reviewed against primary sources before publication.
