Daïtro
Vinyl Collected

Listening notes

Daïtro's "Vinyl Collected," released in 2022 on Adagio830 (catalog number adagio 52), brings together material from the French band under a single vinyl release. Situated across genres catalogued as emo, hardcore, rock, and screamo, the record reflects the kind of cross-genre positioning that has long characterized work operating at the harder edges of post-hardcore and its adjacent scenes.

The record spreads seven tracks across two sides. The A-side opens with "De L'eau Coule Sous Les Ponts" and moves through "Place Tolozan" and "Nous Ne Participons Pas Tous À La Même Utopie" before closing on "Un Fléau Pour Un Autre." The B-side carries three tracks: "La Substance Et La Matière," "Des Plaies Ouvertes," and "Et Du Béton." The French-language titles are consistent throughout, and their register — water under bridges, open wounds, concrete — suggests a lyrical vocabulary oriented around place, material, and damage, though what the songs themselves do with that vocabulary is a matter for listeners to determine.

Adagio830 is a German label with a documented history of releasing music in the screamo and post-hardcore space, and this release fits within that catalog profile. The 2022 date places it well into a period of renewed collector and listener interest in the screamo genre more broadly, though no specific claims about this release's reception or market position are made here.

Track durations are not available in the verified data, which limits what can be said about the record's pacing or overall runtime. Collectors and researchers seeking additional technical details — pressing variants, matrix information, or personnel credits — should verify those independently before treating any such details as confirmed.
