Dance Gavin Dance
Happiness (Green Vinyl)

Listening notes

Dance Gavin Dance's *Happiness* appears in this 2023 green vinyl pressing on Rise Records, cataloged as RISE 080-1. The release carries genre classifications of Post-Hardcore and Rock, and spreads its ten tracks across two sides of a standard LP configuration.

Side A opens with "Tree Village" and moves through "NASA," "I'm Down With Brown Town," and "Carl Barker" before closing on the title track, "Happiness." Side B begins with "Self-Trepanation," followed by "Strawberry Swisher Pt. 1," "Don't Tell Dave," "Strawberry Swisher Pt. 2," and closes on "Powder To The People." The sequencing places both parts of "Strawberry Swisher" on the same side, separated by a single track, a structural detail that collectors and listeners tracking the album's internal organization may find worth noting.

No track durations are documented in the available data for this pressing.

The release is attributed to Rise Records, listed here under the parenthetical designation Rise Records (3), which reflects how the label is cataloged to distinguish it from entities sharing a similar name in database records.
