Draconian
Sovran

Listening notes

Draconian's *Sovran* arrives on vinyl through Napalm Records in 2025, catalogued as NPR 606 VINYL. The release spans four sides, with ten tracks distributed across the double-record set. Side A carries three tracks — "Heavy Lies The Crown," "The Wretched Tide," and "Pale Tortured Blue" — while Side B holds two: "Stellar Tombs" and "No Lonelier Star." Side C continues with "Dusk Mariner," "Dishearten," and "Rivers Between Us," and Side D closes the album with "The Marriage Of Attaris" and "With Love And Defiance."

The four-sided configuration is a practical consequence of the album's length, a common structural reality for longer releases making the transition to the format. Track durations are not available in the verified data for this entry, so no assessment of side sequencing or spacing can be responsibly offered here.

Draconian operates across a range of genre designations — death metal, doom metal, gothic metal, and rock — a breadth that the track titles on *Sovran* loosely reflect in tone, though editorial impressions of the music itself are outside the scope of what the available facts support.

This entry is drawn from catalog data associated with the 2025 vinyl pressing. Details regarding personnel, recording origins, pressing specifications, or variant editions are not present in the verified information and have been omitted accordingly. Collectors or researchers seeking those details should consult Napalm Records directly or cross-reference with discography databases that carry confirmed supplementary data for NPR 606 VINYL.
