Draconian
Turning Season Within

Listening notes

Draconian's Turning Season Within received a vinyl release through Napalm Records in 2023, catalogued under NPR234VINYLGITD. The Swedish band works within the intersecting territories of doom metal, gothic metal, and rock, and this release situates that catalog on a double LP format, with the program spread across four sides.

The tracklist runs nine songs in total. Side A opens with "Seasons Apart" and continues with "When I Wake." Side B carries "Earthbound" and "Not Breathing." The third side presents "The Failure Epiphany" and "Morphine Cloud," while Side D closes the record with three tracks: "Bloodflower," "The Empty Stare," and "September Ashes." The four-sided configuration gives each track meaningful space within the sequencing, though no duration information is available to confirm how that runtime is distributed across the sides.

The catalog number includes the suffix GITD, which collectors familiar with Napalm Records releases will recognize as a common designation for glow-in-the-dark vinyl variants. This detail is embedded in the catalog number as provided and is worth verifying against the physical product or the label's official release documentation before treating it as confirmed.

For collectors building a reference entry on this pressing, the core verified details are the label, catalog number, year, and tracklist as laid out above. Track durations were not available in the source data and should be confirmed independently. Any additional claims about personnel, pressing specifications beyond the catalog suffix, or edition quantities would require separate documentation before inclusion in a finalized entry.
