Electric Frankenstein / Hellacopters, The
Electric Frankenstein Vs. The Hellacopters

Listening notes

Released in 1998 on Frank Records (catalog number FRANK 4), this split vinyl pairs Electric Frankenstein with The Hellacopters across four tracks divided between two sides. The release sits within the punk, rock, and rock and roll genres, and the format is standard vinyl.

Side A carries two Electric Frankenstein contributions: "Learn To Burn" and "Born Wild." Side B belongs to The Hellacopters, presenting "Oh Yeah Allright!" and "I Want A Lip." No track durations are documented in the available data.

Both bands were active participants in the underground rock scene of the late 1990s, and the split format itself was a common vehicle within that world for connecting acts who shared aesthetic territory. Beyond what the catalog entry confirms, however, this draft makes no claims about the circumstances of the release, the relationship between the two bands, or how the record was received.

Frank Records issued this as FRANK 4, placing it within the label's numbered catalog sequence, though no further information about the label's full roster or history is verifiable from the data at hand.

A human fact checker should confirm whether track durations exist in any supplementary source, verify any additional personnel or production credits not reflected here, and determine whether pressing variants, limitations, or alternate editions are documented elsewhere. Any reception history, influence, or listening description would require sourcing independent of this catalog entry before appearing in a final published version.
