Emperial Vinyl Presentation

Listening notes

Released in 2001 on Candlelight Records under catalog number Candle 052, Emperial Vinyl Presentation is a box set collecting material from the Norwegian black metal band Emperor across ten sides of vinyl, designated A through J. The set gathers content from four studio albums — Emperor/Wrath Of The Tyrant, In The Nightside Eclipse, Anthems To The Welkin At Dusk, and IX Equilibrium — alongside the live record Emperial Live Ceremony, presenting each as a distinct section within the larger package.

The tracklist is substantial. The Emperor/Wrath Of The Tyrant portion occupies sides A and B, drawing from the band's earliest recorded material and including tracks such as "I Am The Black Wizard," "Wrath Of The Tyrant," and "Night Of The Graveless Souls," the last of which appears twice across those two sides. Sides C and D carry In The Nightside Eclipse in full, running from "Into The Infinity Of Thoughts" through "Inno A Satana." Anthems To The Welkin At Dusk follows on sides E and F, and IX Equilibrium occupies sides G and H. The live component, Emperial Live Ceremony, closes the set across sides I and J, with performances drawing from across the catalog.

The box set is categorized under black metal, rock, and symphonic metal. No track durations are documented in the available data. This is a draft for fact-checker review; personnel, pressing details, and edition information have not been verified and are not included here.
