Listening notes
Released in 2011 on EMI (catalog number 6 78729 1), the De Luxe 12" Vinyl Box Set compiles Enrique Bunbury's solo catalog across a format combination of seven vinyl records and one CD, all housed together as a box set. The genres listed for the release span Latin, Rock, and Rock & Roll.
The scale of the set is considerable. The vinyl component runs from sides A through X, with individual albums or collections occupying dedicated groupings of sides. Titles without side positions — Radical Sonora, Pequeño, Flamingos, El Viaje A Ninguna Parte, El Tiempo De Las Cerezas, Hellville De Luxe, and Las Consecuencias — appear to function as album or section headers within the sequence, suggesting the box organizes Bunbury's output album by album across the records.
The tracklist extends to well over one hundred individual titles, ranging from early entries such as "Big Bang," "Negativo," and "Encadenados" through later material including "Bobby Perú," "Ven Y Camina Conmigo," and the closing vinyl sides of Las Consecuencias. That final album also appears in full on the included CD, with its ten tracks — among them "El Boxeador," "Frente A Frente," and "Nunca Se Convence Del Todo A Nadie De Nada" — duplicated across both formats within the same package.
No duration information is available for any of the individual tracks in the verified data for this release.
Collectors and researchers should treat this draft as unverified pending review against physical copies and primary source documentation.
