Face To Face
Vinyl Slip Cover Set

Listening notes

Released in 2016 on Fat Wreck Chords, the Face To Face Vinyl Slip Cover Set (catalog number FATF2F25) is a box set collecting music from the California punk band across three vinyl records. Spanning six sides of vinyl — labeled A through F — the set brings together a substantial body of work drawn from multiple points in the band's catalog.

The tracklist runs to nearly fifty titles spread across the three records. The first record covers sides A and B, opening with "You've Done Nothing" and moving through tracks including "Disconnected," "No Authority," "Pastel," and "Do You Care?" before closing side B with "Don't Turn Away." The second record, sides C and D, leads with material grouped under the Don't Turn Away and Big Choice designations, featuring titles such as "Struggle," "Big Choice," "Velocity," and a cover of the Descendents track "Bikeage." The third record occupies sides E and F, with titles including "Resignation," "Walk The Walk," "Ordinary," "Everything's Your Fault," and two additional covers: the Rolling Stones' "Paint It Black" and the Smiths' "Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want."

The set is cataloged under the punk and rock genres, consistent with Face To Face's long association with Fat Wreck Chords, the San Francisco independent label founded by NOFX's Fat Mike. The slip cover format indicated in the release description suggests a dedicated physical presentation, though the specific nature of that packaging is not detailed in available documentation. The set carries no individual track durations in its documentation.
