Förgjord / Musta Kappeli
Uskon Kuolema

Listening notes

Uskon Kuolema is a split vinyl release from 2009, issued by the Finnish label Hammer Of Hate under catalog number HOH026. The release pairs two acts, Förgjord and Musta Kappeli, and is catalogued under the genres of black metal and rock.

The record presents two tracks across its two sides. The A-side carries Förgjord's contribution, "Valheiden Kylväjä," which runs for six minutes and sixteen seconds. Musta Kappeli occupies the B-side with "Haureudessa Häpäisty," a longer piece clocking in at eight minutes and nineteen seconds. Both titles are in Finnish, consistent with the broader cultural context of the artists and their label.

Hammer Of Hate is a Finnish imprint with a documented history of releasing black metal material, and Uskon Kuolema fits within that catalog as HOH026. The split format itself is a well-established vehicle within underground metal, allowing two acts to share a single physical release, though the specific circumstances surrounding this pairing are not addressed by the available documentation.

The total playing time across both sides amounts to roughly fourteen and a half minutes, which places this firmly in the range of a standard seven-inch or ten-inch release rather than a full-length album, though the exact format dimensions are not specified in the available data.

For collectors and researchers working through the Hammer Of Hate discography or documenting the output of either Förgjord or Musta Kappeli, Uskon Kuolema represents a discrete and verifiable entry from 2009. Further detail on personnel, pressing specifications, or the release's place within either band's broader body of work would require additional sourcing beyond what is currently confirmed.
