Ghost Bath
Moonlover

Listening notes

Ghost Bath's Moonlover arrived on vinyl through Nuclear Blast Entertainment in 2016, catalogued as NB 3677-1. The release places the album within the black metal and rock genres, spread across two sides of a standard LP configuration.

Side A opens with "The Sleeping Fields," a brief track at one minute and twenty-six seconds, before giving way to two substantially longer pieces. "Golden Number" runs nine minutes and eight seconds, followed by "Happyhouse" at eight minutes and forty-four seconds, making the first side a demanding stretch of extended material with a short introductory passage.

Side B carries four tracks and a somewhat different internal rhythm. "Beneath The Shade Tree" runs four minutes and forty-seven seconds, and "The Silver Flower Pt. 1" follows at four minutes and three seconds. The album's two-part structure for that composition continues with "The Silver Flower Pt. 2," which extends to seven minutes and thirty-three seconds. The record closes with "Death And The Maiden" at six minutes and twenty-five seconds.

The tracklist architecture is worth noting for collectors mapping out a physical listening experience. Side A's runtime is anchored heavily by its two long central tracks, while Side B distributes its length more evenly across four pieces, with the Silver Flower suite forming an extended mid-side sequence before the closing track. The total program adds up to a substantial album, and the two-sided division reflects deliberate sequencing decisions that shape how the record plays as a physical object.

Nuclear Blast's catalog number NB 3677-1 provides the standard identifier for locating this specific pressing in discographies and databases. The 2016 release date situates the vinyl edition within that year's broader output from the label.
