Greenleaf
Rise Above The Meadow

Listening notes

Greenleaf's Rise Above The Meadow was released on vinyl in 2016 through Napalm Records, catalogued as NPR 635 VINYL. The Swedish stoner rock band, active since the late 1990s, placed this release within the broader rock and stoner rock genres, and the double LP format accommodates ten tracks spread across four sides.

Side A opens with "A Million Fireflies" and continues with "Funeral Pyre." Side B carries three tracks: "Howl," "Golden Throne," and "Carry Out The Ribbons." The album's second record begins with Side C, which holds "Levitate And Bow Part 1 & 2" alongside "You're Gonna Be My Ruin." Side D closes the record with "Tyrants Tongue" and "Pilgrims," followed by "High And Low," designated here as a bonus track.

The ten-track sequence and the double LP configuration are worth noting for collectors and listeners approaching this edition specifically. The inclusion of "High And Low" as a bonus track on Side D suggests it may not appear on all formats of the release, though that distinction would require verification against other editions. Track durations are not confirmed in the available documentation and have been omitted here accordingly.

Napalm Records, an Austrian label with an extensive catalogue spanning metal and hard rock, served as the releasing body. The catalog number NPR 635 VINYL identifies this pressing within the label's vinyl output for the period.
