Gutalax
Shit Beast

Listening notes

Gutalax is a band operating within the goregrind and pornogrind genres, and Shit Beast, released in 2016 on Bizarre Leprous Production (catalog number BLP 0158), stands as a vinyl document of those sensibilities rendered in their most literal form. The record was issued on the Czech label Bizarre Leprous Production, which has maintained a consistent presence in the underground extreme music community.

The album spans fourteen tracks across two sides. The A side opens with "Anal Error" and moves through seven additional selections including "Anus Ice Cream," "Robocock," "Sucking A Cock Of A Vietnam Veteran," "Koky Is Back," "Licking The Ass Of A Magical Grandpa," "Asshole Ghost - Wishmaster," and "Tease The Ass With A Jack From A Track." The B side carries six tracks: "Vlak-In-Off-Ka," "Collective Shit In The Morning Sunrise," "Swallowing The Seeds Of An Elperly Deer," "Asswolf," "Pooh, Eeyore And Tiggy Having A Threesome," and "Cursed Fart In Pet Bottle." Track durations are not documented in the available data.

The title choices reflect the genre conventions of goregrind and pornogrind, where scatological and sexual provocations in song naming are understood as part of an established subcultural grammar rather than incidental choices. Titles referencing recognizable cultural touchstones, such as the apparent nod to childhood characters in "Pooh, Eeyore And Tiggy Having A Threesome," sit alongside more straightforwardly transgressive selections, producing a tracklist that performs its genre affiliations consistently from start to finish.

The release carries a Rock genre tag alongside goregrind and pornogrind in the catalog data, which may reflect broad platform categorization conventions rather than any specific stylistic claim about the record itself. Collectors and researchers seeking this release should reference catalog number BLP 0158 when consulting dealer and database records.
