Iration (2)
Daytrippin

Listening notes

Iration (2) released Daytrippin on vinyl in 2023 through Three Prong Records, carrying the catalog number LP010. The record spans ten tracks divided evenly across two sides, placing it squarely within a full-length format.

The genres listed for this release — Dub, Pop, Reggae, Reggae-Pop, and Rock — suggest a project that draws from more than one tradition rather than committing to a single stylistic lane. Whether those categories reflect distinct moments across the album or a more blended approach throughout is not something the available data can confirm.

Side A opens with "IRL" and moves through "Can't Look Back," the title track "Daytrippin," "Strange," and "California Dreams." The decision to place the title track at the midpoint of the first side rather than at the top or close of the album is a structural choice worth noting, though what motivated that sequencing remains outside the scope of what is documented here. "California Dreams" closes the side with a title that fits comfortably within the broader genre designations on record.

Side B runs through "Last Night," "New Style," "Remedy," "The Stream," and "Comedown." The closing track, "Comedown," carries a title that functions naturally as a final statement, though no information about its actual content or tone is available to verify whether the sequencing was intentional in that regard.

Three Prong Records serves as the releasing label, and LP010 as the catalog number places this release within that label's documented output. Track durations are not available in the current data set.
