Josh Kramer (2)
The First Tree Original Soundtrack

Listening notes

Josh Kramer's soundtrack to The First Tree received a vinyl release in 2021 through Mana Wave Media, issued under catalog number MW-001. The release marks the label's inaugural catalog entry, as the MW-001 designation indicates.

The record is classified across several genre categories — Classical, Soundtrack, Stage & Screen, and Video Game Music — reflecting the source material's origins as a video game score. The soundtrack is presented across two sides, with five tracks on each.

Side A opens with "Call Of Destiny" at 3:38, followed by "You Know I Can't" at 2:51, "Transformation" at 4:18, "Resilience" at 4:16, and "Road To Buxton" at 3:09. Side B leads with "A Little Peace of Mind" at 3:42, then "Where The Light Goes" at 3:22, "Rebirth" at 6:12, "Changing Wind" at 4:02, and "Starlight" at 4:43. The total runtime across both sides runs to just over 40 minutes.

"Rebirth," at 6:12, is the longest track on the record, while "You Know I Can't," at 2:51, is the shortest. The track titles — among them "Transformation," "Resilience," and "Rebirth" — suggest thematic continuity across the program, though any conclusions about narrative intent would go beyond what the available facts support.
