Joy Division
Les Bains Douches

Listening notes

Les Bains Douches is a live album by Joy Division, released on vinyl in 2011 through the Italian reissue label Get Back, under catalog number GET79. The release is formatted as a double LP, spanning four sides across two records, and is categorized under the genres of post-punk and rock.

The sixteen-track program is substantial by any measure. Side A opens with "Disorder" and moves through "Love Will Tear Us Apart," "Insight," "Shadowplay," and "Transmission." Side B carries "Day of the Lords," "Twenty Four Hours," "These Days," and "A Means to an End." Side C presents "Passover," "New Dawn Fades," and "Atrocity Exhibition," while Side D closes the set with "Digital," "Dead Souls," "Autosuggestion," and "Atmosphere." No track durations are documented in the available data.

The tracklist draws heavily from Joy Division's studio albums, with several titles drawn from what would become some of the band's most recognized material, alongside selections that appeared less frequently in their catalog. The breadth of the program, sixteen performances across four sides, distinguishes this as an extensive document of the band's live repertoire, whatever the circumstances of the original recording.

Get Back is known as a label that has issued live and archival recordings by a range of artists, primarily on vinyl. No additional information about this specific pressing's production, mastering, or packaging can be confirmed from available data, and readers researching this release for collecting purposes are encouraged to consult primary sources and verified discographies for those details.
