Kingston Wall
I

Listening notes

Kingston Wall's debut album I, originally released in the early 1990s by the Finnish rock band, appears here in a 2019 vinyl reissue on Svart Records, catalog number SVR339. The release falls under the genres of prog rock, psychedelic rock, and rock.

The reissue spans a substantial tracklist spread across at least three sides of vinyl. Side A opens with "With My Mind" and continues through "Used To Feel Before," "I'm Not The One," and "Fire." Side B carries "Waste Of Time," "Nepal," "And I Hear You Call," and "Tanya." Side C presents a multi-part suite titled "Mushrooms," broken into eight sequenced movements: "I: Prelude," "II: On My Own," "III: The Weep," "IV: Mushrooms," "V: Circumstances," "VI: Captain Relief," "VII: More Mushrooms," and "VIII: The Answer." The tracklist data places "Mushrooms" as a section header without an assigned position, which may indicate a label or suite designation rather than a discrete track.

Side D is designated as a live recording, "Live At Tavastia 31.5.-92," presenting three tracks: "Can't Get Thru," "Day Tripper," and "And I Hear Your Call." The Tavastia is a well-known Helsinki venue, and the date indicated is May 31, 1992. The inclusion of a live side distinguishes this reissue from a straightforward album reproduction, though the specifics of how this material was sourced are not confirmed in the available data.

Track durations are not listed in the available information, so no runtime can be confirmed. Svart Records, a Finnish label, has catalogued this release as SVR339. Prospective buyers and researchers should verify pressing details, side configurations, and any supplementary liner notes independently before drawing further conclusions.
