Little Girls
No More Vinyl......

Listening notes

Little Girls released *No More Vinyl......* in 2007 as a self-issued CDr, carrying no catalog number and bearing no label affiliation beyond the designation "Not On Label." The release sits within the genres of New Wave, Power Pop, and Rock, and collects ten tracks across its runtime.

The tracklist opens with "Earthquake Song" and moves through a sequence that includes "Left Without A Kiss," "No Time To Say Goodbye," "Bandana," and "How To Pick Up Girls." The second half of the release carries "Rich Girl," "Any Way You Want It," "Really Wanna Be With You," and "Not A Perfect World," before closing on "Crush On You (Acoustic Demo)." That final entry is the only track explicitly identified by its format — an acoustic demo — which distinguishes it from the preceding nine and offers a glimpse into at least one song's development outside a finished studio context. No track durations are documented.

The title itself is worth noting in the context of a vinyl reference resource. *No More Vinyl......* arrives as a CDr, a format that sits at a considerable remove from pressed records, and the name may carry some self-awareness about the distance between the release and the formats that collectors typically pursue. Whether that distance is ironic, pragmatic, or simply incidental is not something the available facts can settle.

The self-released, no-catalog CDr format places this squarely within a mode of independent distribution that leaves documentary gaps — personnel, session details, and pressing information are not on record here. What is confirmed is the year, the format, the genre classifications, and the ten titles that make up the release.
