Necrophobic
The Third Antichrist

Listening notes

Necrophobic's *The Third Antichrist* received a vinyl release through Hammerheart Records in 2018, cataloged under HHR2018-11. The release carries genre classifications spanning black metal, death metal, and rock, reflecting the broad descriptive range often applied to Necrophobic's catalog.

The record is organized across two sides, each given a distinct label in place of conventional A and B designations. The first side is identified as Side Death and opens with "Rise Of The Infernal," followed by "The Third Of Arrivals," "Frozen Empire," "Into Armageddon," "Eye Of The Storm," and "The Unhallowed," for a total of six tracks. The second side is designated Side Metal and carries five tracks: "Isaz," "The Throne Of Souls Possessed," "He Who Rideth in Rage," "Demonic," and "One Last Step Into The Great Mist." The named sides add a degree of intentionality to the sequencing that collectors may find worth noting when approaching the record as a physical object.
