Official Serato Control Vinyl

Listening notes

The Official Serato Control Vinyl, released on Serato Pressings under catalog number cv02.5, is a two-disc vinyl release classified under the Non-Music genre. The release carries no credited artist, reflecting its functional rather than musical purpose as a control medium.

Each of the two discs shares an identical runtime structure: the A-side of each disc runs for ten minutes, while the B-side of each extends to fifteen minutes, giving each disc a combined playing time of twenty-five minutes across both sides. The tracklist identifies the sides simply as "Disc n°1" and "Disc n°2" respectively, with no additional track titles or compositional credits listed.

The release is catalogued as a vinyl format and is attributed to Serato Pressings as the issuing label. No release year is documented in the available catalog data for this pressing, identified by catalog number cv02.5.

As a Non-Music release, this title sits outside conventional recording categories and carries none of the standard attributes associated with musical albums, such as songwriter credits, production personnel, or studio information. Its classification and catalog structure suggest it belongs to a category of functional audio tools rather than recorded performances intended for passive listening.

Given the limited catalog data available, no additional claims can be made regarding the release's origins, production context, available variants, or market history. Researchers and collectors seeking further documentation on this title are encouraged to consult primary sources or official Serato materials directly, as the information above reflects only what is currently recorded in the available catalog entry.
