Novastar (2)
The Complete Vinyl Collection 2000 - 2025

Listening notes

Released in 2025 on Universal Music Belgium, The Complete Vinyl Collection 2000 – 2025 is a box set bringing together recordings by Novastar (2) across a span of twenty-five years. Catalogued under the number 752.063-3 and classified under the Pop and Rock genres, the set is issued on vinyl and represents the label's effort to compile the act's output within a single physical package.

The collection is organized across multiple discs, with individual sides corresponding to what appear to be separate original albums or releases. The titles listed without side-position markers — Novastar, Another Lonely Soul, Almost Bangor, Inside Outside, In The Cold Light Of Monday, Holler And Shout, and The Best Is Yet To Come – London Live At Studio 2 — function as disc or album headers within the tracklist, suggesting the box set groups material by release rather than presenting a single continuous sequence.

Sides A through L account for studio recordings, running from tracks such as "Wrong" and "Smooth Flavours" through to "Isabelle" and "Holding Patterns." The final two sides, M and N, are dedicated to a live recording titled The Best Is Yet To Come – London Live At Studio 2, which includes performances of tracks that also appear in studio versions elsewhere in the set, among them "Wrong," "Because," "Closer To You," and "When The Lights Go Down On The Broken Hearted."

In total the set contains seventy-five individual track listings across the fourteen lettered sides. The box set was released under Universal Music Belgium, consistent with Novastar (2) being an act associated with the Belgian market.
