Listening notes

Released in 2006 on Textile Records (catalog number TXTVNL 10), this split vinyl brings together two acts — Noxagt and Ultralyd — under the shared genres of experimental, free improvisation, noise, and rock. The release follows a straightforward side-by-side format, with each side presumably dedicated to one of the two groups, though the available documentation does not specify which tracks belong to which artist.

The A-side carries four tracks: "Firebird," "Resonance," "BFTP," and "Drittstilk." The B-side follows with another four: "The Smell Of Incest," "Le Frappeur De Dents," "Aggress Bresselbauer," and "Darkening Of The Stool." No track durations are documented in the available data. The titles range from the terse and abstract — "BFTP" offering no obvious expansion — to the bluntly provocative, suggesting an aesthetic that sits comfortably within the noise and free improvisation traditions the release is catalogued under.

Textile Records, identified by the TXTVNL prefix in the catalog number, appears to have positioned this release within its vinyl-specific catalog line. Beyond the label name, catalog designation, year of release, and tracklist, no additional documentation — covering personnel, pressing details, or production credits — is available to confirm further specifics.

For collectors and researchers approaching this release, the verified details are limited: a 2006 vinyl split on Textile Records, eight tracks across two sides, and a genre framework spanning experimental, free improvisation, noise, and rock. Any claims beyond these facts should be treated as unverified until additional primary source documentation is consulted.
