Oranssi Pazuzu
Mestarin Kynsi

Listening notes

Oranssi Pazuzu's *Mestarin Kynsi* was released in 2020 on Nuclear Blast, catalogued under NB 5437-1. The Finnish band, whose work sits at the intersection of black metal and rock, issued the album across vinyl and other media formats.

The vinyl edition is spread across three sides, with two tracks occupying each. Side A opens with "Ilmestys" and continues with "Tyhjyyden Sakramentti." Side B carries "Uusi Teknokratia" and "Oikeamielisten Sali." Side C closes the record with "Kuulen Ääniä Maan Alta" and "Taivaan Portti." Track durations are not confirmed in the available source data and are omitted here accordingly.

All six track titles are in Finnish, consistent with the band's established practice of working primarily in their native language. The three-sided layout is a structural detail worth noting for collectors, as it implies a double-LP configuration in which one side of the second disc is not used for audio content, though the specifics of that fourth side are not confirmed by the data at hand and should be verified before publication.

Nuclear Blast, the issuing label, is a German imprint with a long history of releasing metal recordings across multiple formats. The catalog number NB 5437-1 follows the label's standard numbering conventions for vinyl pressings, with the suffix indicating the format.

The genres attributed to this release are black metal and rock. Those are the categories assigned in the source data and are noted here as such, without editorial elaboration on how those terms apply to the music itself.
