Psychedelic Porn Crumpets
And Now For The Whatchamacallit

Listening notes

Psychedelic Porn Crumpets released *And Now For The Whatchamacallit* on vinyl in 2019 through What Reality? Records, carrying the catalog number WR?RPPC007. The Perth-based band works within the psychedelic rock and rock genres, and this record represents one entry in a catalog that the band has largely managed through their own label infrastructure.

The album spreads ten tracks across two sides. The A-side opens with "Keen For Kick Ons?" and continues through "Bill's Mandolin," "Hymn For A Droid," "Fields, Woods, Time," and "Native Tongue." The B-side carries the sequence from track six onward, moving through "Social Candy," "My Friend's A Liquid," "When In Rome," "Digital Hunger," and closing with "Dezi's Adventure." Track durations are not confirmed in available documentation for this edition.

The catalog number itself — WR?RPPC007 — reflects the label name's own punctuation, What Reality? Records, and positions this release as the seventh entry under that designation. The label, associated with the band's operations, fits a pattern seen among independent artists who maintain direct control over physical releases rather than routing through major distribution arrangements.

The title *And Now For The Whatchamacallit* and several track names, including "My Friend's A Liquid" and "Hymn For A Droid," suggest an appetite for the absurd and the oblique that aligns loosely with the band's chosen genre territory, though the connection between title and content is a matter for the listener to assess rather than something documented here.

This draft is unreviewed. Track durations, pressing details, and any additional personnel or production credits should be verified against primary sources before publication.
