Queens Of The Stone Age
Vinyl Firsts, B-Sides & Remixes

Listening notes

Queens of the Stone Age released this self-issued compilation in 2012 under the designation "Not On Label (Queens Of The Stone Age)," carrying no catalog number. Formatted across four sides of vinyl and described as "All Media," the release gathers material under the straightforward banner of its title: firsts, b-sides, and remixes.

The tracklist spans eighteen titles spread across sides A through D. Side A opens with "18 A.D." and continues through "Infinity," "All The Same," and "2 It." Side B moves through "Like A Drug," "Precious And Grace," "Stone Cold Crazy," and "Fun Machine Took A Shit." Side C extends the compilation with "Going Out West," "White Wedding," "Era Vulgaris," "Needles In The Camel's Eye," and "Christian Brothers."

Side D is given over entirely to remixed material. "I'm Designer" appears here reworked by Adrian Sherwood and Primal Scream. Two entries are credited to a remixer identified as Contradicktator: "Little Sister" and "The Blood Is Love." "Song For The Deaf" is presented in what the tracklist calls "The Blind Can Goes Get Fucked Remix," while "You Think I Ain't Worth A Dollar But I Feel Like A Millionaire" closes the record in a version identified as the "Troy Mix."

The release is catalogued under the genre of rock. No track durations are listed in the available documentation. The absence of a catalog number and the self-issued label designation distinguish this from the band's conventional discography on commercial imprints.
