Listening notes

Back On Black's 2010 vinyl release of Rainbow's *Finyl Vinyl* carries catalog number RCV026LP and spreads fifteen tracks across four sides, making it a double-LP package within the hard rock and rock genres.

The tracklist itself reflects considerable range in running time. Side A opens with "Spotlight Kid" at five minutes and moves through "I Surrender" at five minutes and forty-five seconds, "Miss Mistreated" at three minutes and twenty-one seconds, and "Street of Dreams" at four minutes and fifty-six seconds. Side B covers five tracks: "Jealous Lover," "Can't Happen Here," the extended "Tearin' Out My Heart" at eight minutes and four seconds, "Since You Been Gone," and "Bad Girl." The distribution of material across the four sides accommodates those longer pieces without crowding shorter ones.

Side C is where the runtime expands most noticeably. "Difficult to Cure" occupies eleven minutes and fifteen seconds at the top of the side, followed by "Stone Cold" and "Power," bringing the side to just under twenty minutes of total program. Side D closes the set with three tracks: "Man on the Silver Mountain" at eight minutes and twenty seconds, "Long Live Rock 'n' Roll" at seven minutes and twelve seconds, and "Weiss Heim" at five minutes and ten seconds. The final side alone accounts for roughly twenty minutes of music.

In total, the fifteen tracks run to approximately one hour and twenty-three minutes of program time spread across the four sides. For a collector cataloguing this pressing, the key identifiers are the Back On Black label, catalog number RCV026LP, and the 2010 release year. The double-LP format and the specific track-to-side assignments documented above are the details that distinguish this particular edition from other configurations in which *Finyl Vinyl* has appeared.
