Satanic Warmaster / Archgoat
Lux Satanae (Thirteen Hymns Of Finnish Devil Worship)

Listening notes

Lux Satanae (Thirteen Hymns Of Finnish Devil Worship) is a split release from Satanic Warmaster and Archgoat, issued in 2015 by Hells Headbangers on vinyl under catalog number HELLS MLP 037. The release is categorized under black metal and rock.

The title's parenthetical subtitle, Thirteen Hymns Of Finnish Devil Worship, aligns directly with the tracklist, which spans thirteen titles across two sides. The A-side carries four tracks attributed to the split: "Black Destiny," "Wolves Of Blood And Iron," "Satanic Winter," and "My Kingdom Of Darkness." The B-side holds nine tracks: "Jesus Spawn," "Death & Necromancy," "Penis Perversor," "Angelcunt," "Satanic Oath," "Soulflay," "Black Messiah," "Thrice Damned Sodomizer (Streams Of Blood)," and "Rise Of The Blackmoon." Track durations are not available in the verified data.

Both Satanic Warmaster and Archgoat are Finnish acts operating within black metal, which is consistent with the release's subtitle referencing Finnish provenance. Hells Headbangers, the releasing label, is a United States-based operation known for issuing extreme metal on physical formats including vinyl.

The asymmetric track distribution between sides — four on the A-side and nine on the B-side — is a structural detail that collectors and cataloguers may find notable, though no further information about the reasoning behind that arrangement is available from verified sources. Track durations are absent from the available data, so the overall runtime of the release cannot be confirmed here.
