Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings & JD McPherson
Happy Holidays From Kindercore Vinyl 2018

Listening notes

Released in 2018 on Kindercore Vinyl (catalog number KCV214), this seven-inch single brings together two artists from different corners of the soul and rock landscape for a holiday release. Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings contribute "8 Days (Of Hanukkah)" on the A-side, while JD McPherson takes the B-side with "Hey, Skinny Santa!" The release is catalogued under the Funk / Soul and Rock genres.

The pairing of Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings with JD McPherson on a single release gives the record a split format, each act occupying one side of the vinyl. Kindercore Vinyl, the label behind the release, assigned it the catalog number KCV214. No durations are listed for either track in the available documentation.

The holiday theme connects both sides of the record, with Jones and the Dap-Kings addressing Hanukkah on their contribution and McPherson taking on a Christmas subject with his. Beyond the tracklist and basic release information, the documented facts available for this record are limited, and no additional personnel, recording details, or production information can be confirmed at this time.

As an unreviewed draft, this entry should be checked against any additional sources that may clarify personnel credits, recording circumstances, or other release variants before publication. Any claims beyond what is documented here would require independent verification.
