Sloppy Boys, The
The Sloppy Boys Vinyl Collection

Listening notes

The Sloppy Boys' "The Sloppy Boys Vinyl Collection," released in 2025 on Kerchow Records (catalog number 810096657510), is a substantial multi-disc vinyl set spanning thirty-five tracks across what the repeated position numbering in the tracklist suggests are at least three sides or records. The collection is catalogued under the genres Alternative Rock, Pop Rock, Rock, and Stage & Screen.

The sheer volume of material here is notable. The first sequence of eleven tracks runs from the brief "I'm One Hell of a Dude" at one minute and seventeen seconds to the extended "Here for the Beer," which clocks in at five minutes and twenty-one seconds. The second sequence of fourteen tracks is the longest of the three, closing with "Classic New York Night" at eight minutes and four seconds, the single longest track on the release. The third sequence of ten tracks rounds out the collection, ending with "Full-Blown Free-for-All" at two minutes and fifty-five seconds.

Across all three sequences, track lengths vary considerably, ranging from just over one minute to just over eight. Titles such as "We Came Here to Rock," "Party With the Reds," "Here for the Beer," "Pass that Doobie," "Lifeguard Life," and "Breakfast at Bellevue" suggest a thematic consistency that runs through much of the collection, though the inclusion of the Stage & Screen genre designation may point to material with connections outside a straightforward rock context.

As a vinyl collection issued in 2025, this release gives physical format listeners access to a large body of the Sloppy Boys' work in a single package. Prospective buyers should verify specific pressing details, side sequencing, and any additional liner documentation directly with the label or retailer before purchase.
