Smash Into Pieces
Arcadia

Listening notes

Smash Into Pieces released Arcadia on vinyl in 2020 under the catalog number SIP18VINYL, issuing the record themselves through a self-released arrangement rather than through a conventional label. That decision places the release within a broader pattern of artist-driven distribution that became increasingly common during that period, though nothing in the available documentation speaks to the specific circumstances or motivations behind the band's choice to self-release this particular format.

The record is catalogued under three genre designations: Alternative Rock, Folk, World, & Country, and Rock. That combination is worth noting simply as a matter of record, since genre tags on self-released vinyl can reflect either the artist's own categorization or the conventions of whichever database first indexed the release. No further inference about the music's character is warranted here.

The vinyl edition presents thirteen tracks across two sides. Side A opens with a short introductory piece, "Intro: The Siren," running one minute and eighteen seconds, before moving into "Wake Up," the title track "Arcadia," "Everything They S4y" — the numeral in that title appears in the source data and is reproduced here as documented — "All Eyes On You," "Forever Alone," and "The Chosen Ones." Side B carries six tracks: "Godsent," "Ego," "Bend The Rules," "Big Bang," "Counting On Me," and "Mad World." The combined runtime across both sides, calculated from the listed durations, comes to approximately forty-two minutes.

The tracklist itself is the primary document available here. Collectors or researchers seeking pressing details, matrix information, or variant editions will need to consult physical copies or supplementary sources, as none of that information is present in the verified data for this entry.
